The Biscuit Factory

I am delighted to be exhibiting a large body of work at the Spring Exhibition at the Biscuit Factory in Newcastle.
It is a fantastic art, craft and design gallery set in the heart of Newcastle, complete with artist studios, a cafe and restaurant.
The preview is on Friday 6th March from 6pm- 9pm and the exhibition runs until the 29th May.

November 2014

After a very busy year, with getting married and relocating to a lovely new studio in Patriothall Studios in Stockbridge, I am delighted one again to have my work exhibited in the annual RSA Open Exhibition.
Two new paper works ‘Deconstruction’ and ‘Resonance’ will be on show at the Royal Scottish Academy, Edinburgh from Saturday 29th November to 20th January 2015.

I am delighted to be participating in the forthcoming Open Week at St Margaret’s House in Edinburgh.
I have recently moved into my new studio- this is a great opportunity for people to come and see my new space, have a drink and see all that the building has to offer.
The Open Week opens on Friday 11th October at 7pm until 20th October and is open every day from 10am - 5pm.
This is a great chance to come and take a peek into the creative hub and meet over 100 artists, designers and businesses.
The week is also filled with events, exhibitions and workshops!

I will be opening my studio on Friday 11th at 7pm, Saturday 12th 10am- 5pm, and Sunday 13th 10am- 2pm.

Four Painters, RGI Kelly Gallery

Salon des Refusés, RGI Kelly Gallery
The Royal Glasgow Institute 151st Annual Exhibition

I have 2 works which have been selected for the RGI’s exhibition ‘Salon des Refusés’ at the Kelly Gallery.
In homage to the original Salon des Refusés, the 1863 exhibition held outside the official Paris Salon, the RGI have organised an alternative exhibition to the pre-existing annual show at the Mitchell library.
This is the first year for it to take place and I think this is an inspired idea and a great chance to see new, diverse, contemporary artwork.

Open from Tuesday 18th September- Saturday 6th October
Late viewing celebration on Thursday 20th September 5pm.

Jungle City 2011

I am delighted to be working with The Elephant Family for the event Jungle City which takes place in Edinburgh over the festival.

The event will feature 130 life size sculptures, of some of the planets most endangered species and aims to raise 1 million for their survival.

The animals, destined to become highly collectible works of art, will grace The Royal Botanic Gardens from mid-August before being unleashed onto the streets of Edinburgh throughout September.

I am painting an orangutan for the Royal Botanical Gardens– please look out for him! There will be open-top safari jeeps on hand to help tourists and residents spot the wildlife.
